We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Franchise Operations Coordinator to support rapid growth of a premium bagel concept expanding through franchising. In this role, you will act as the central operational liaison between our corporate team, franchise partners, and third vendors to ensure consistent execution of our brand, smooth new store openings, and optimized ongoing operations. Franchise Buildout & Launch Coordination
● Serve as project lead for franchise location openings, managing timelines, approvals, and stakeholder communications from lease signing through opening
● Review architectural, MEP, and kitchen layout plans to ensure compliance with brand standards and operational efficiency
● Coordinate with architects, contractors, signage vendors, and equipment suppliers
● Lead or support page-turn meetings, equipment procurement, and final punch list resolutions
Cross-Functional Ops Oversight
● Manage communications and task tracking across departments (e.g., marketing, training, facilities) to ensure site readiness
● Ensure restaurant tech stack (POS, ordering platforms, delivery dispatch tools, etc.) is configured and deployed per company SOPs
● Troubleshoot and escalate field-level issues with third-party vendors and systems (e.g.,Toast, R365, Lunchbox)
Franchise Partner Enablement
● Serve as day-to-day contact for franchisees on operational issues
● Provide guidance on hiring, training, guest experience, catering, delivery, and back-of-house operations
● Assist in setting expectations and enforcing compliance with operational and brand standards
Continuous Improvement & Documentation
● Develop and maintain playbooks, SOPs, and approval workflows for franchise support
● Track performance metrics post-opening and coordinate resolution of gaps in labor, food cost, or guest satisfaction
● Identify repeat friction points in store openings or ongoing ops and propose structural improvements
● 4+ years in multi-unit operations, restaurant expansion, or franchise support
● Strong project management and organizational skills
● Experience with restaurant systems (Toast, R365, Harri, etc.)
● Comfort with reviewing architectural and MEP drawings preferred
● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with multiple competing priorities
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of individuals
● A bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a related field is preferred
